Here are Clark.com, we’ve got you covered with advice on the six best days to shop at general retailers leading up to Christmas if you want to save the most money.
But according to the company’s latest press release, Dollar General has a handful of super-savings days specific to its stores!
These include Sunday, November 19 through Wednesday, November 22, and again from Thursday, November 23 (Thanksgiving) through Saturday, November 25.
Here’s what to expect for each group of dates:
Sunday, November 19 through Wednesday, November 22
- Buy-one-get-one-free (BOGO) offers
- Special deals on preparations for a tasty Thanksgiving meal
- Savings on electronics, holiday gift options and more
Thursday, November 23 through Saturday, November 25
- BOGO offers on assorted As Seen on TV® items, food storage containers, cosmetics and select coffees
- 75% off a second qualifying toy when you buy the first one at full price
- 50% savings on all holiday tree décor including trees, ornaments, lights, tree skirts and tree toppers
- 50% savings on plush, fleece and flannel throws
- 20% off two or more qualifying gift card purchases
- Deep discounts on electronics from Polaroid®, Vivitar® and iRocker

The good news is there’s no need to wait until late November if you prefer to get going on your holiday shopping and want to save right now!
If you’ve got kids in your life, Dollar General will give you a 25% discount off all qualifying toy purchases of $75 or more, both in stores and online, now through December 24.
The dollar store has a wide selection of popular branded and licensed toy offerings, including My Little Pony, Spider-Man, Barbie, Cars 3, Frozen, Monster High, Disney, Glimma Girlz, Hot Wheels, Finding Dory, The Lion Guard, Paw Patrol, Doc McStuffins, Trolls, Fisher Price and others.

Digital coupons will be key to saving money
Want to save up to $200 when you’re doing your holiday shopping this year at Dollar General?

Expanded shopping hours are being planned
Finally, as more and more malls and retailers alike make the decision to close on Thanksgiving Day, Dollar General is marching in the opposite direction.
All DG stores will be open from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day. Normal business hours will resume on Black Friday.
On December 22 and 23, shoppers will find the store open from 7 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Hours on Christmas Eve Day (December 24) will be from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Dollar General stores will be closed on Christmas Day.
