Some wireless carriers talk about honoring our active-duty military and honorably discharged veterans. But one carrier in particular really puts its money where its mouth is.

T-Mobile’s new plan for military members and their families

Beginning April 22, the Un-carrier will introduce its new T-Mobile ONE Military pricing plan at T-Mobile stores nationwide.

The plan rewards the sacrifices of our brave men and women in uniform and their families with 20% off a first line of service and half off up to five additional voice lines.

T-Mobile ONE Military includes everything in the standard T-Mobile ONE at no extra cost.

That means unlimited text and data roaming, a free basic Netflix subscription, offers of free stuff every week during T-Mobile Tuesdays and more.

T-Mobile says a family of four will save $665 per year on the ONE Military pricing plan compared with AT&T’s military discount. And that savings jumps to $764 when you’re talking about Verizon.

In fact, Military.com reports that the other three of the Big 4 wireless providers — AT&T, Sprint and Verizon — only provide 15% off monthly bills.

Oh, and one more bonus from T-Mobile’s new military-focused initiative: The ONE Military plan will also offer Samsung Galaxy S9, S9+ or S8 Active phones at 50% off!

More military love from T-Mobile

As if that weren’t enough, T-Mobile is further supporting our military by committing to hire 10,000 veterans and military spouses over the next five years.

That’s in addition to the carrier’s plans to fund a career readiness program in 20 cities for veterans and active duty servicemembers — plus putting it online for military distance learners.

Finally, T-Mobile has a more than $500 million expansion of LTE coverage around U.S. military bases on tap for later in 2018.
