Followers of money expert Clark Howard may know that he was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 2009 at the age of 53.
Since then, Clark has adopted a watchful waiting approach rather than seeking active treatment. He undergoes quarterly blood tests and urological exams, as well as an annual biopsy. However, he has not undergone any invasive procedures to date.
Clark got involved with the Prostate Cancer Foundation in 2011 and proudly supports their mission to help the more than 3 million men living with cancer in the USA.
“I know that when you receive a prostate cancer diagnosis, it’s hard to know where to turn, who to trust, and what to do next. But, I also know that the information available on PCF.org is information you can use, and I know you can trust it.” — Clark Howard
He recently recorded his own PSA for the Foundation and even has a page set up there for you to view more resources.
Just recently, the PCF has added a prostate cancer patient guide for “loved one[s] or caregiver[s] who wants to cut through the information noise and get directly to need-to-know information for prostate cancer patient navigation.
