According to the National Hurricane Center, hurricane season runs from June 1 to November 30 every year. These storms can cause catastrophic damage to communities and families, and rescue efforts can last for months or even years.

Hurricane Dorian is one of the first major hurricanes of the season, and the storm is terrorizing the Bahamas along with much of the southeastern coast of the United States.

If you want to help, it’s important to choose the right organization so your donation impacts the victims of these destructive events.
