New car seat could prevent hot-car deaths

Evenflo has developed a new car seat that could prevent the horrible hot-car deaths that have been covered in the news.

It’s called the Evenflo Advanced Embrace DLX and it has what is touted as ‘sensor safe technology,’ WCMH reported.

A new solution to a tragic problem

The seat comes with a piece of technology that plugs into the on-board diagnostic port of the car.

That sensor will link to the chest clip of the car seat.

When the clip is closed and the car moves, a link is established. When you turn off the car, the sensor will give off an alert sound.

The seat retails for $140.

It will be in stores in August.
