Toys R Us filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection earlier this month, but the iconic toy retailer is open for business and going on a holiday hiring spree!

The company has received $3.1 billion in new financing to pay employees and suppliers through the holidays.

The newly added part-time job opportunities will provide the necessary support to stores and distribution centers across the country during the Christmas season — the busiest time of the year for toy sales.

These are the part-time jobs that Toys R Us is taking applications for right now:

Stores

  • Cashier
  • Sales Associate
  • Stock Associate
  • Toy Demonstrator
  • Order Fulfillment Associate

Distribution Center

  • Warehouse Associate

The toy demonstrator position is brand new. Responsibilities will include unboxing and playing with toys, and allowing kids and gift givers to test them out in the store.
