If you’re looking to make a big career move, there’s no time like the present! January and February are typically two of the busiest months of the year for hiring.
Now, the job site Glassdoor is out with a new list of the 50 best jobs in America for 2018.
This new report highlights the 50 best jobs based on Glassdoor’s Job Score, which is determined by weighing these three factors equally:
- Median annual base salary
- Job satisfaction rating
- Number of job openings
“Half of the jobs on this year’s list are those within the fast-growing technology and health care industries, reinforcing that highly skilled jobs are in-demand, well compensated and those in which employees are satisfied,” said Glassdoor Chief Economist Dr. Andrew Chamberlain. “Workers with certain technical and soft skills, such as creativity, flexibility and good judgment, are at an advantage across industries, from health care to finance to HR, to leverage advances in artificial intelligence and automation. That’s because AI is increasingly complementing these jobs, while not replacing the people needed to do them.”
