Care-a-Thon: Help save the lives of children with cancer

Monday, July 11, and Tuesday, July 12, — with your help — we’re working to save the lives of children struggling with cancer.

WSB's Care-A-Thon: Help us save lives of children with cancerWSB’s 16th Annual Care-a-Thon will air nonstop for 37 hours with stories of hope and inspiration from patients, families and staff of the Aflac Cancer Center and Blood Disorders Center of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.

With the help of News/Talk WSB hosts Scott Slade, Herman Cain, Erick Erickson, Neal Boortz and Clark Howard, the annual Care-a-Thon has raised over $16.5 million. This money goes directly toward innovative research and diagnostics, clinical care, blood and marrow transplants — everything it takes to help the kids survive and thrive.

Tune in to 95.5 FM and AM 750 WSB (in Atlanta) from 5 a.m. July 11, through 6 p.m. July 12, to hear the moving tributes and to meet some of the children you’ll be helping with your kind donations.
