Irma: Download this app to see which stations still have gas

Irma has struck a serious blow to Florida and other parts of the Deep South.

If you’re in one of the impacted areas (or have traveled to escape the storm), GasBuddy has a feature that may come in handy.

Through its mobile app, users can view and report which gas stations  have no fuel or power.

GasBuddy tracks hurricane-related gas outages

When you take a look at the availability map from the GasBuddy app, gas stations without fuel and/or power will appear in red, like in the image below:

When we tested out the feature Wednesday afternoon, we were surprised that so many gas stations in Miami were already out of gas due to the sudden spike in demand.
