Senior Savings
On August 28, the lifetime Senior Pass to over 84 million acres of protected national park lands will increase to $80. Travelers 62 years of age and better were able to buy the America the Beautiful – The National Parks and Federal Recreational Lands Senior Pass for just $10 since 1994.
The pass price is increasing as result of the Centennial Legislation (P.L. 114-289) passed by the U.S. Congress on December 16, 2016.
The $80 lifetime pass covers all National Park entrance fees for the pass holder and their companions in a noncommercial vehicle at per-vehicle fee areas and pass owner – plus three adults, not to exceed four adults. Children under 16 are always admitted free. It also includes discounts for some campsites and tours across the country.
Beat the deadline and purchase the $10 pass by August 27. Purchase at a national park or other federal recreation area that charges an entrance fee. Or, buy online (additional $10 processing fee applies). U.S. citizens or permanent residents 62 years or older are eligible for the Senior Pass. Proof of age and residency is required.
Learn more about how the pass funds help to contribute to our National Park Foundation Endowment.

The least expensive fees are charged when these options are purchased during the ticket booking process. Fees climb higher after flights are reserved and even higher when adding these options at airport check-in. Kayak offers the most up-to-date Fees Chart for all domestic and international airlines.
