Icelandair offers deals on late summer through fall trips to Iceland:
$397 Boston, New York-JFK and Washington DC-IAD

Level, a new low-cost airline will offer nonstop flights from Los Angeles and Oakland to Barcelona (June 1 from LAX, June 2 from OAK). The carrier will operate the new routes with Airbus A330s with 293 economy and 21 premium economy seats, 30-inch legroom, and 9-inch screens at every seat. One-way rates from $149 are on sale now at FlyLevel.
WOW Air will begin servicing Cork, Ireland in June 2017. Flights will be available four days per week from Newark, Baltimore, Boston, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. Double up on your vacation and include a stopover in Iceland. Spend as many days as you like on the carrier’s stopover program.
Introductory one-way rates start from $160 on travel through late September (return one-way rates often higher). Sample round-trip rates are $472 from BWI.
WOW Air continues to expand its global horizon. The ultra-low-cost transatlantic airline from Iceland will now offer daily flights from Los Angeles and San Francisco to Keflavik/Reykjavik with one-way intro rates as low as $99. Purchase tickets with a short one-hour stopover in Iceland before continuing to one of WOW’s 31 European destinations. One-way rates from Los Angeles and San Francisco to Amsterdam, Paris and London are now available for as low as $179. WOW rates are exclusive of fees for carry-on bags and seat reservations. Purchase those extras in advance or face higher costs at airport check-in. Is continental Europe your final destination? Consider a stopover in Iceland – it’s easy to book.

From Boston and Baltimore: through early May 2017 (no Easter)
If you don’t live in a city offering these deals, take a cheap flight to that city and fly from there. WOW Air is also offering one-way flights from $149.99 from select US cities (and on select dates) to Paris, Amsterdam, and London.
Norwegian Air is bringing nonstop European flights to three east coast airports with one-way rates from just $65 to Europe. Return fares will be slightly higher. Factor return USD fares to be about $200-$300 due to airport and country departure taxes. Still, you could land a round-trip rate of $300 if you act fast.
