AT&T has an offer valued at $695 for you

Just hours after T-Mobile went live with their offer on Dec. 16, AT&T fired back with an announcement about a ‘buy one, get one free’ offer on a variety of popular smartphones.

Now through Dec. 24, new AT&T customers can have their pick of two Samsung Galaxy S7s, Galaxy S7 Actives or Galaxy S7 Edges for the price of one.

In order to qualify, you must activate both lines on the AT&T Next or AT&T Next Every Year plans. (The latter plan allows you to get a new smartphone every year.)

An eligible qualifying service of $70 a month is required for this deal. The two lines you activate must remain active and in good standing to receive this credit.

The way you actually get the second phone for free is via bill credits for 30 months.

For every billing cycle, you’ll see a credit of approximately $23.17 on your statement, up to a final value of $695.
