Radio Shack has announced the closure of nearly 200 stores as the ailing electronics retailer seeks bankruptcy protection for a second time.

185 stores on the chopping block
General Wireless Operations — the parent company of Radio Shack — will reportedly ask for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection ‘within days,’ according to Bloomberg.
The beleaguered chain announced on its Facebook page that 185 stores will shut down this week. That’s more than 10% of the 1,500-store chain’s retail footprint.
