Brittany Williams tried just about everything to lose weight — fasting, working out and even diet pills — but she wasn’t able to drop the pounds until she started using an Instant Pot.

Instant Pot diet: How to lose weight, save money

In addition to her incredible weight loss, Brittany says she’s cut her grocery bill significantly since she started using the programmable pressure cooker.

What’s her secret? Read on to learn how an Instant Pot has helped her live a happier, healthier life…

After the birth of her first child, Brittany wrote on her blog that she was depressed, exhausted and heavy. Her weight topped out at 260 pounds. She was also taking medication for an autoimmune disease.

But Brittany’s life changed forever after her husband brought home an Instant Pot, although she was reluctant to test out the multi-cooker at first.

“The thought of trying to learn a whole new method of cooking gave me anxiety,” Brittany said.

When she finally got around to using the kitchen gadget, Brittany realized that it could make her life so much easier by preparing home-cooked meals in less than 30 minutes.

Several years later, she now uses her Instant Pot to make dinner at least five or six times a week.

In January 2017, Brittany made a New Year’s resolution to cook at home for an entire year. She ditched processed foods, broke up with the pizza delivery man and reduced her intake of grains, sugar and dairy.

Brittany said she now weighs 135 pounds and is off medication, but her waistline isn’t the only thing that’s shrinking.

She told Clark.com that her family has saved at least $200 a month since beginning the “Instant Pot diet.” She shops at Costco every other week and grabs some items at Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods and Sprouts.

“Our grocery bill is always under $500 a month for a family of five,” Brittany wrote on her blog. “We don’t eat out and my husband takes his lunch to work.”
