A class action settlement has been reached that allows consumers to claim $25 in cash or $50 in Starkist tuna.

The Lawsuit claims that StarKist under-filled certain 5 oz. canned tuna products in violation of state and federal law. The company says it did nothing wrong. The parties involved agreed to a settlement — which means free tuna for you!

If you live in the United States and bought at least one five-ounce can of Starkist Chunk Light Tuna in Water, Chunk Light Tuna in Oil, Solid White in Water or Solid White in Oil — February 19, 2009, and October 31, 2014, — you’re eligible to file a claim, according to Consumerist.com

You don’t need a receipt; your claim is on the honor system.
