Step 1: Pour equal amounts of water and vinegar into a microwave-safe bowl and set it on high for 5 to 10 minutes. Place a toothpick or small wooden object into the bowl to keep the mixture from exploding.

Step 2: After waiting a few minutes to let it cool, carefully remove the bowl using oven mitts. Soak a sponge in the mixture and wipe down the microwave.

Step 3: Even if you have stubborn food stuck to the inside of the microwave, this method should help you easily remove it. You can also sprinkle some baking soda onto the sponge and scrub away.
