Dedicated to empowering the consumer through advice, education and problem resolution
Team Clark volunteers man a busy consumer phone bank, which can be reached from 10 AM-7 PM ET, Monday through Friday at (404) 892-8227. In addition, the team answers snail mail.
They also research special projects and maintain a growing computer database of consumer issues. In all, the volunteers respond to more than 300 calls per day, 6,000 calls per month and letters and faxes daily.
To stay current on the latest federal and state consumer legislation, Team Clark offers professional seminars to its staff of volunteers. These seminars are presented by different offices of the state government, trade associations and consumer help organizations. The Georgia Governor’s Office of Consumer Affairs, the U.S. General Store and the Consumer Credit Counseling Services are just a few of the resources we use.
